The winner of the Browser Game of the Year 2009 Awards has been announced.
Goodgame Poker has won the coveted Audience Award at the Browser Game of the Year 2009.
The Browser Game of the Year Award, hosted by the big German game magazine Galaxy News, is one of the most prestigious awards for browser games. In addition to a jury of international journalists, game developers and designers, the players themselves could participate in the election. Almost 50 games in about a dozen categories took part. Within two weeks an audience of more than 35,000 players voted for their favorite game.
Goodgame Poker could prevail in the category "Large Games" of the Audience Award. This category is the premier class at the audience voting, which includes all nominated games with more than 100,000 players.
